Telegram

Telegram connects directly: you add our bot as an administrator of your channel with permission to post messages. No intermediaries, no keys.

What works

• Publishing text up to 4096 characters; with an image the text goes as a caption, where the limit is 1024 characters.
• Bold and italic work: **bold**, *italic*.
• Several images in one publication.
• Each channel is a separate target with its own link, status and metrics.
• Views and subscribers are collected from the channel's public page automatically.

What's missing

• Views are visible only for public channels with an @name: the platform doesn't return them for private ones.
• Telegram has no reach (unique readers) as a metric — only views.
• Comments are pulled in if the channel has a discussion group connected.

With several channels the service never publishes “to all” — the channel is chosen explicitly. That's exactly what once led to posts landing in the wrong channel.
